It was reported that a severe press had taken place at Havre, Dieppe, Boulogne, Cherbourg. Morlaix, and all the Western ports of France. All seamen between the ages of 15 and 30 were sent to the Fleet at Brest, which had top-sail yards across, in apparent readiness for sea.
