Vice Admiral Horatio Nelson, 1st Viscount Nelson, 1st Duke of Bronté, KB, was killed on October 21st, 1805 at the Battle of Trafalgar, Nelson's and Britain's greatest naval victory. Nelson was born on September 29th, 1758, and became famous for his service to the Royal Navy, and for his victories. The image shows the entry for Nelson in the Navy List of May 1805, Nelson was a Captain in 1779, a Rear Admiral in 1797, and a Vice Admiral in 1801.
